About the Program
Physician Assistant (Physician Associates) are trained healthcare professionals who assist consultants in delivering diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive care. They perform initial assessments, conduct physical examinations and support diagnosis by interpreting lab tests and X-rays under medical supervision.
The 4-year undergraduate program provides a strong foundation in both theoretical knowledge and clinical practice during the first three years, combined with hands-on exposure in clinical settings. In the final year students undertake a 12-month clinical placement to strengthen and apply the knowledge and skills developed earlier in the program.
