The Ganga Institute of Health Sciences coordinated a seminar on career guidance in collaboration with The IMTP Consultancy , Coimbatore for the outgoing batches.Mr. Sasidharan Nambiar , Managing Director and Prashaanth Venugopal from IMTP explained the bewildering variety of courses and career opportunities quite literally, a whole world of choices and how to narrow down the thousands of courses and careers to just a few based on the current need and how to individualize listening to our heart and head. They gave an outline of how to research the best. Ranking universities, Fee information and cost-of-living estimates, alongside information about scholarships and other sources of funding, for postgraduates were discussed. The testimony of a recent student was far more impactful, powerful and authentic than a website can ever be. Visa information was made as clear as possible which potentially encouraged students . Queries put forward by students on other factors include the quality and availability of accommodation; closeness to important landmarks; employability of graduates; study facilities; social and sports facilities; and faith provision was clarified. The plethora of information given to the students was brilliant.
